Soon after the re-dedication service on 10th December, we will collect our Christmas tree from David Hughes, Pen-y-Cefn, set it up tall beside the main East window, and decorate the church. It will form the backdrop to the Christmas Concert by Côr Meibion Caerwys and Côr Merched Caerwys on 13th December at 7.00 pm. That will be an event to look forward to, as the choirs together perform seasonal songs.
On 21st December Ysgol yr Esgob will hold their Christmas Service in the church at 9.15 a.m.
On 22nd December at 7pm we will be supported by members of Côr Merched and Côr Meibion, as we dim the lights and take part in the service of Carols and Lessons.
At 11a.m on Sunday 24th December there will be Holy communion . At 4pm there will be the Crib Service at which younger members of the congregation will bring forward model people and animals to the stable to commemorate the Nativity.
Our Christmas Eve Festival Communion Service will be at 9.30pm on 24th December. Our Christmas Day Communion Service will be at 10.30 a.m.
The church will be open every day throughout the season for visitors, and for those who would like to come in and sit awhile in the quiet. RW
