Caerwys Town along with no doubt every other town, village and city is celebrating this historic event on May 7TH by having a community event over that bank holiday. This type of event is important to local communities as it encourages people of all ages to mix and have fun whilst taking part in an historic event. The event is similar to the Jubilee with Water street being used as a street party venue. The organising committee has sought permission from FCC to close the road for a specified time. The road down to the OAK and square will be blocked off on Sunday Morning 7th May and will be reopened at the end of the day at approximately 1800. The lower part of water street (Chapel entrance) will not be blocked off.
